These terms cover your use of SimQivo, a relay logic simulator made by CirQivo. By using the site you agree to them.
What SimQivo is
SimQivo is an educational simulator for learning relay and motor-control logic. The studio and the example circuits are free. Pro and Lifetime plans add the fault-finding challenges.
Education only
Simulations are simplified. They do not replace the applicable electrical code, manufacturer documentation, your employer’s procedures or safe work practices. Never rely on a simulation to decide whether real equipment is safe to work on.
Not affiliated with the Red Seal Program
SimQivo is an independent study companion. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Red Seal Program or any exam authority. Using it does not guarantee a pass on any exam.
Accounts
You need an account to use paid features. Keep your sign-in details private and give us an accurate email address. You are responsible for activity on your account. Access is for one person and may not be shared or resold.
Plans and billing
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Taxes, where required, are shown at checkout.
Pro Monthly and Pro Annual renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Founding Lifetime is a one-time payment. It gives access to the current SimQivo Pro features, the Relay Logic Studio fault-finding challenges, for as long as SimQivo offers them. If we ever discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice. Whether future labs, such as a PLC lab, are included will be announced when they are released.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card number.
Electrical Red Seal Prep subscribers
Active Electrical Red Seal Prep subscribers get SimQivo Pro features included while their subscription is active. We check this using the email address on your account. If that subscription ends, the included access ends too.
Refunds
See the Refund Policy. In short: 14 days on a first purchase.
Acceptable use
Do not copy, scrape or resell the challenges or their answers, attempt to get around the paywall, interfere with the service, or use it to break the law.
Our content
The SimQivo software, challenges, text and design belong to CirQivo. Circuits you build are yours. You give us permission to store them only as needed to run the service.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the site running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. We may update these terms and will change the date below when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Limits on liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, CirQivo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss arising from using a simulation in place of proper procedures. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
